If the answer is “Yes” to any one of these questions, Yankee School of Auctioneering is now offering a Two-Day Graduate Seminar “Benefit & Charity Auctions”. This 15-hour course, taught by T Maggie Rose of Classic Benefit Auction Services and Jay Daly of Yankee School of Auctioneering, will thoroughly review the process of creating and executing a successful Benefit or Charity Auction. 

 

 Our topics for the weekend will include (but are not at all limited to):

*      What IS a Charity or Benefit Auction?

*     Who are You and what is your Role?

*     Who is the Committee and What are their Roles

*     Pre-Auction Timeline & Checklist

*     Solicitation Guidelines – Best & Worst practices

*     Marketing the Auction Event to your population

*     Event Night Planning

*     Elements of Successful Fundraising

*     Something For Everyone!

*     Silent Auction Techniques

*     Live Auction Techniques

  

We will conduct a mini Benefit Auction at the conclusion of the course so everyone has a chance to practice their roles!  Proceeds from this auction will go to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

 

The course is scheduled to be held late FALL, 2007 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. 

This course will be held at Southern New Hampshire University, Hospitality Center Building. 

A deposit of $100 will hold your place in the class, with the balance of tuition due at registration on the first day.
